About Us

Versiti Blood Center of Indiana is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring a safe, reliable blood supply for patients across the state. As Indiana’s local blood center, Versiti supplies lifesaving blood products to more than 90 hospitals, including those serving Hamilton County residents in Noblesville, Carmel, and Westfield. At the heart of our mission is a simple but powerful commitment: local blood for local lives. Every donation made in Hamilton County helps support patients in nearby hospitals, from emergency rooms and trauma centers to cancer treatments and surgical care. This local-first approach ensures that donors can see the direct impact of their generosity within their own community. Versiti is also a critical partner to Hamilton County’s first responders. Through our prehospital blood program, we provide blood products to local EMS agencies, equipping ambulances with the ability to begin lifesaving transfusions before a patient even reaches the hospital. This innovative program reflects a shared commitment with fire and EMS teams across the county to deliver the highest level of care when every second matters. Beyond hospitals and emergency services, Versiti is deeply embedded in the fabric of the Hamilton County community. The organization partners with local schools, businesses, faith groups, and civic organizations to host blood drives, educate future donors, and build a sustainable pipeline of lifesavers.
