Thank you.\n\n\n\nAll-County Chamber Luncheon:  Urban Revitalization\n\n\n\nPresented by:\n\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for our second annual collaborative luncheon presented by six Hamilton County Chambers - Carmel\, Fishers\, Hamilton North\, Noblesville\, Sheridan and Westfield.\n\n\n	\n		\n			\n				 \n			\n				                     featuring\n		\n		\n			\n				\n			\n				Tom Murphy\n\n				Senior Fellow\n\n				at the Urban Land Institute\n\n				& Former Mayor of Pittsburgh\n		\n	\n\n\n\n\n	\n		Tom Murphy served three terms as mayor of Pitssburgh from 1994 through 2005.  During that time he initiated public-private partnership strategies for economic development\; led efforts to secure two professional sports facilities and a convention center\; developed partnerships to transform abandoned industrial properties into new commercial\, residential\, retail and public uses\; and oversaw the development of more than 25 miles of new riverfront trails and urban green space.\n	\n		Prior to serving as mayor\, Murphy served eight terms in the Pennsylvania State General Assembly House of Representatives and two years in the Peace Corps in Paraguay.\n	\n		He is a graduate of the New Mayors Program at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government and holds a masters of science degree in urban studies from Hunter College and a bachelor of science degree in biology and chemistry from John Carroll University.\n\n\n\nUrban Land Institute\n\nThe Urban Land Institue (ULI) provides leadership in the responsible use of land and in creating and sustaining thriving communities worldwide.
