DESCRIPTION:The search is on for Indiana's outstanding senior volunteers – and we're asking you to help us find them.\n\nSponsored by Home Instead Senior Care\, the Salute to Senior Service program recognizes senior volunteers for the many contributions they make in their local communities. We also are encouraging friends\, co-workers and family members to nominate deserving seniors for possible state and national honors.\n\nNominations will be accepted through March 15\, 2012. Fifty state winners and one national winner will be introduced during Older Americans Month in May when $5\,000 will be donated to the national winner's charity of choice. Participants will also be recognized locally with a city wide event\, (details to be announced later.)\n\nI hope you will consider informing your contacts\, volunteers\, subscribers and their families about this unique opportunity to honor seniors who donate their time and talents to local schools\, hospitals and other organizations.

LOCATION:Go to www.salutetoseniorservice.com to nominate volunteers\,age 65 and older\, who volunteer 15 hours more per month. Encouraging all who are familiar with the nominee's devotion to serve to add additional comments to the nomination increase that nominees chances to win. A local celebration will take place in March to honor local volunteers. Details to be announced.
