SUMMARY:State of Workforce in Hamilton County Luncheon
DESCRIPTION:Even prior to the pandemic it became clear that talent was going to be where communities won or lost in the 21st Century. In 2021 there were over 50\,000 unique positions open throughout the county\, which represents nearly a third of total county-wide employment.\n\n \n\nIn 2022 that focus on talent in a post-pandemic world looks different than experts could have predicted\, and trends that existed before are now fully realized and accelerated. The Great Resignation\, exacerbated by pent up pandemic transitions and early retirements represents and has presented a new reality for local employers.\n\n \n\nIn this program participants will hear from a national labor market expert from EMSI-Burning Glass and learn from a panel of local corporate executives representing diverse industries. The goal is to see the big picture of how national trends are becoming (or not becoming) reality in Hamilton County\, where employment is projected to grow and/or be challenged\, and how corporations are adapting today.\n\n\n\nAgenda:\n\n \n\n11-11:30am Registration & Networking\n\n11:30-11:40am: Introductions\n\n11:40-12:15am: EMSI Speaker\n\n12:15-1pm: Panel\n\nModerator: Tom Killian\n\nPanel: 4 Local CEOs/Execs from Chamber\, HCCF Boards
