Exactly 200 years ago, a war was raging right here in Indiana – maybe even in your own backyard! William Conner and many other Hoosiers played important roles in this war in which the British and Americans were fighting, once again, over the rights to rule this land. Conner Prairie will host a group of talented re-enactors who will bring this tumultuous time to life. Check out the firearms and equipment used by soldiers while you visit their War of 1812 encampment on Saturday, April 21 and Sunday, April 22 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission is $14/adult, $9/youth (ages 2-12), free for members and youth under 2. For more information, call (317) 776-6006 or visit www.connerprairie.org.
