Horses charge across the open field and cannons roar as re-enactors from across the Midwest bring the Civil War era to life again. Marking the 150th anniversary of the war, special programs will highlight the stories of Indiana regiments that fought in the Civil War. Representative from living history groups portraying these Indiana regiments will discuss their uniform, equipment, campaigns and battles fought. Young and old can learn firsthand from re-enactors portraying Union and Confederate soldiers. Create a memory sure to last a lifetime when you experience the Civil War for yourself at Conner Prairie. Saturday, May 21, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 22, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Admission is $14/adults, $13/seniors 65+, $9/youth (ages 2-12), free for members and youth under 2.
