The Department of Labor, Vocational Rehabilitation, and the Howard County Business Leadership Network would like to invite you to a luncheon focusing on upcoming laws regarding hiring practices. James Emmett will discuss Rule 503 changes that will affect federal contractors in terms of record-keeping, recruitment, and hiring individuals with disabilities. Learning about these changes is very important for federal contractors. Kathy Burns, Regional Business Consultant and Jesse Ulmer, Local Veterans Representative will discuss services available to veterans through WorkOne, and how employers can benefit from these services. There will be a question and answer session after the presentations, as well as time to network with other employers.
