MLK Jr. Day
This free public day honors King's commitment to community and education by offering tours of the Conner Homestead, science activities, a sneak peak of the new 1863 Civil War Journey: Raid on Indiana, and stories about the 28th Regiment United States Colored Troops. Families are invited to explore multiple activities such as the Discovery Station where imaginations run wild, the Craft Corner where paper dolls are decorated and joined hand-to-hand with others for the ''We Are Alike'' people quilt and the Science Lab where your family can learn all the ways we are alike and different through activities that explore race and genetics.
